photosynthesis is synthesize process complex/ organic compounds from simple/an organic compound by sunlight and chlorophyll
the part of plants has function for photosynthesis is chloroplast or chlorophyll
the tissue is found on:
1. palisade tissue contain many chloroplast
2. spongy tissue contain few chloroplast
chloroplast:
1. thylakoid
2.grana : kumpulan thylakoid
3. stroma : cairan pengisi
PHOTOSYNTHESIS PROCESS

CO2 , H2O , light and chlorophyll are needed to make carbohydrate during photosynthesis
- chlorophyll converts light energy to chemichal energy
- chlorophyll pigments absorb blue and red light
• two stages reaction of photosynthesis
1. LIGHT REACTION
- reaction which need light
- this occur absorbtion light energy by chlorophyll and split water molecul (fotolisis/pemecahan molekul air) : H2O 2 H+ + O2-
- produce of light reaction : oxygen , hydrogen,energy in ATP form (ATP/ adenosine triphosphate : functional energy / siap pakai)
- occur in grana / granum (jamak) in the thylakoid
- !!!Note : AMP : adenosine monophosphate energy potensial
ADP : adenosine diphosphate
2. DARK REACTION
- reaction without light / doesn’t need light
- bending of carbondioxide occur and synthesize glucose
- the hydrogen ion (H+) carbondioxide and energy combine in a complex set of chemical reactions to produce glucose
- occur in stroma

• factor that influence photosynthesis :
NO | FACTOR | EXPLANATION |
1. | chlorophyll | the more chlorophyll make photosysnthesis increase |
2. | light | the more light, make photosynthesis increase but, if light higher caused destroy of chlorophyll, ( lack of water ), closed stoma cause photosynthesis decrease |
3. | temperature | if temperature is too low or high,it will destroy the work of enzym !!! NOTE : the optimal temperature of photosynthesis 35◦ C |
4. | carbon dioxide | the more carbon dioxide, make photosynthesis increase |
5. | water | if plants is lack of water , the stomata closes and by the closing of stomata then the carbon dioxide cannot enter into the plant |
6. | oxygen | the increase of oxygen can obstruct photosynthesis |
